PDPW to Offer Spanish Version of The Dairy Signal
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/24/2020
The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is expanding the information offered through its new Dairy Signal series each week to the hispanic-speaking members of the industry. As of Thursday, the group is offering a free Spanish version of the online programs, which were launched as a resource for timely information amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Translated as La Seņal Lechera, the hour-long episodes feature resources on business, market, finance, and animal care and nutrition.
"The purpose of La Seņal Lechera is to bring resources to our Spanish-speaking audience so they have access to the same information offered to our entire dairy industry during these unprecedented times," said PDPW Director Shelly Mayer. "We need to stay
together and united and be a resource for everyone. We don't want anyone to bear the weight of this situation alone."
Translated and recorded by students from Viterbo University, content on La Seņal Lechera will be available on-demand weekly. No registration fee is necessary, and all episodes will be available at www.pdpw.org.
