UW-Madison's AWA Benefit Arm Re-Elects Officers

The Association of Women in Agriculture Benefit Corporation has announced the results of its recent board elections. The program, which is housed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will be led once again by Chrissy Meyer of Viroqua, who was re-elected president of the group for a third consecutive year. A 2008 graduate, Meyer serves as the U.S. marketing manager for Alta Genetics.

Kristin Olson was re-elected vice president. She is the director of public relations at Cooperative Network.

Serving as secretary for a third year is Cassie Endres from Waunakee, who works at Filament as a marketing executive. Jaime Sawle from Sauk Prairie will again serve as the group's treasurer. She is employed as the Experimental Aircraft Association as a marketing coordinator.

Meanwhile, Laura Elliott joined the board as a director-at-large for a two-year term. She is a regional sales manager for Merck Animal Health.
