Wisconsin Breeders Take Top Honors at Spring Holstein Show

The top animal of this year's Midwest National Spring Holstein Show came from Lomira. 'Robrook Goldwyn Cameron,' owned by Budjon, Vail, St Jacobs & Woodmansee, was named Grand Champion of the Open Show and Senior Champion Female. The Reserve Grand Champion Female of Show honors went to 'Vangoh Durham Treasure,' owned by Mike and Julie Duckett from Rudolph. Treasure was also named Best Udder of Show. The competition was held in Jefferson last weekend.

The Senior & Grand Champion of the Junior Show was 'MS Angel Delluci,' owned by Connor Erbsen, Lanark, IL. Reserve Senior & Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show honors went to 'Rose-Lyn Jasper Corvette,' owned by Tori Evert, Brooklyn, WI. 'Rosedale Lexington' was the Champion Bred & Owned of Show. She is owned by Rosedale Genetics, Ltd. of Oxford.

Budjon Farms & Joel Kietzman, Lomira, was named Premier Breeder. The show's Premier Exhibitor was Milk Source LLC, Kaukauna.

Judge Chris Lahmers of Marysville, Ohio, placed 125 heifers and 40 cows during the event.
