Delegates Elect Two Members to WCMA Board

The board of directors for the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association will have two new faces joining their panel. During the group's annual meeting held in conjunction with the International Cheese Technology Expo in Milwaukee last week, delegates elected Brian Baker of Baker Cheese in Saint Cloud and Doug Wilke from Valley Queen Cheese in Milbank, South Dakota to its board. They will start their new terms on July 1.

"Fresh perspectives help WCMA evolve to meet the changing needs of its membership, and we are grateful to our Directors who generously devote their time and energy to advocate for the best interests of our industry," said WCMA Director John Umhoefer.

Meanwhile, Kim Heiman of Nasonville Dairy near Marshfield will continue to serve as board president, with Kerry Henning of Henning Cheese chosen as first-vice president and Dave Buholzer from Klondike Cheese Co. being second-vice president. The treasurer will be Chris Sandretti of Saputo Cheese USA, and Steve Bechel of Eau Galle Cheese Factory is the secretary.
