Farm Tech Days Committee Holding Safety Video Contest
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/28/2010
The University of Wisconsin Center for Agricultural Safety and Health and the Pierce County Farm Technology Days Youth Committee are teaming up to sponsor a Wisconsin Farm Safety Video Contest.
Organizers say entries are allowed from teams of at least three members from a non-profit, Wisconsin recognized youth organization. Individuals involved should be members in good standing with their organization and a Wisconsin resident.
The videos must be at least 60 seconds in length and no more than two minutes. The projects can either focus on 'General Agricultural Safety' or 'Safety When Operating on Public Roads.' Entries can submit one video for each category, but a separate form needs to be completed for each entry.
Videos will be judged for how well the video follows the subject, creativity, and overall video production. The judges will select three videos in each category that will be voted on by attendees during the official hours of Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in Pierce County later this summer.
All entries and necessary forms must be postmarked by June 1. Find the entry and release forms at: http://pierce.uwex.edu/4h/ Look under the News and Forms column.
