Beef Expo Offering 'Founders Scholarships' to College Students
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/27/2017

World Beef Expo is now accepting applications for two scholarships for young adults with a background in beef production. The WBE Founders Scholarship was created last year to honor the men and women whose hard work and dedication created the event.

The $1,250 scholarships are made possible by the Gregg and Angela May family and the Dave and Marcia DeLong family.

"We are proud to offer this opportunity to young people through Founders Scholarships," said Gregg May. "We know the best way to secure the future of beef production was through our youth."

The scholarships is open to anyone who is a high school senior to 21 years of age enrolled, or planning to enroll in a university, junior or technical college. Preference may be given to applicants pursuing a career in agriculture, especially beef production, and to applicants who have exhibited at World Beef Expo.
