A barn near Mondovi has been destroyed by a large fire over the weekend, which also claimed the lives of an unknown number of livestock.
According to the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department, the blaze was reported Sunday afternoon at Loomis Lazy L Tack and Trailer Sales, which is located on U.S. Highway 10.
Deputies had to close the highway down for two hours while crews battled the fire.
