Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/28/2015

Wisconsin State Fair officials have announced the final two acts on the main stage at this year's fair.

Concertgoers are in for a 80s rock revival when HAIR at the FAIR takes the stage on August 15 at 7 p.m. Featuring heavy metal, head-banging artists Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Lita Ford, Kix and Lynch Mob, these rebels will have fans singing at the top of their lungs. The night will kick off with other glam-metal favorites like Ford's 'Close My Eyes Forever,' Kix's smash 'Don't Close Your Eyes,' and Lynch Mob's 'River of Love.'

Classic country fans are in for a treat as Kenny Rogers brings the fair to a close on Sunday, August 16. Rogers has a long history of legendary performances at the Wisconsin State Fair, dating back to 1972. With more than 100 million records sold worldwide, he is one of the most successful recording artists of all time. Timeless hits like 'The Gambler,' 'Coward of the County' and his duet with Dolly Parton, 'Islands in the Stream,' are iconic in the world of country music.

Tickets for these shows will go on sale May 8 at www.WiStateFair.com and the Fair Ticket Office.

The Wisconsin State Fair will take place August 6-16 in West Allis.
