Class III Milk Price Hits Record High of $24.31

The USDA announced that the April Class III milk price was released at $24.31 per hundredweight. That's up 98-cents from the month before and $6.72 more than year-ago levels.
For the year, the Class III price has averaged $23.04, which is also a level never seen before by the dairy industry.
The Class IV price was 32-cents lower than last month's price at $23.34, but was $5.24 more than last year's price for April.
