Wisconsin Ag Connection - 05/02/2011
If you are a horse enthusiast and have a desire to own part of the wild frontier, you may want to be in Marshfield later this month. The Bureau of Land Management will be conducting a Wild Horse and Burro Adoption at the Central Wisconsin State Fair Grounds on May 20-21.
Organizers say Friday will serve as a preview day, where from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., interested parties can come and view the animals. The adoption will be held Saturday from 8:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The adoption works on a first come, first serve basis. No oral bids will be accepted.
According to the BLM Website, the program will be adopting out four horses that were captured in Arizona, Nevada and Wyoming.
