Free Guide Helps Producers Learn About On-Farm Food Service

Farmer interested in diversifying into on-farm food service and serve meals on their premises may be interested in ordering a new free publication that looks at successful farm businesses in Minnesota and Wisconsin that have already started similar enterprises.
The book is called 'Come & Get It: What you need to know to serve food on your farm.' The 120-page guide was spearheaded by Renewing the Countryside, which helps farmers navigate and understand various regulations.
Wisconsin farmers that participated in the writing of the project include Together Farms in Mondovi, Suncrest Gardens Farm in Cochrane, Borner Farm Project of Prescott, Campo di Bella near Mt. Horeb, and Stoney Acres in Athens.
