UWP Pioneer Farm Fences Available for Sponsorship
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 01/15/2010

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Foundation is continuing the Pioneer Farm Fence Post Sponsorship Project. This initiative, which offers boards, posts and groupings of both to be sponsored in support of Pioneer Farm upkeep and new projects like the new beef center, now offers multi-year pledges.

Boards, which cost $500 to sponsor, can be paid for over a five-year period, while posts costing $250 can be sponsored over a two-year period. There are 144 boards and 72 posts available for sponsorship.

"This project is a way for people to show their support of the Pioneer Farm in a fun and unique way. It is similar to that of the 'M' steps project, which raised funds for new Engineering Hall, but this reaches out to our agriculture alumni. This is a great way for people to have the opportunity to put their name on a little piece of UWP," said Jackie Bevan, UWP Foundation development officer.
