Still Time to Participate in Farm Bureau Run/Walk

The third annual Farm Bureau Run/Walk will be held May 30 near Monroe. Organizers say that participants can travel a 5K run/walk course or a 10K run course featuring fresh country air and scenic views. Following the race, awards will be presented to the top three finishers in the men's and women's categories.
"The Farm Bureau Run/Walk is a great opportunity to view Wisconsin agriculture at its finest," said Andrea Brossard, event co-chair. "Farmers work hard 365 days a year to produce the food we eat to fuel our bodies, and this race allows us the opportunity to bring the concept of farm-to-fork full circle."
The early bird registration ended earlier this week, but interested participants can still sign-up on race day.
Proceeds will be used to fund the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation to promote agriculture education and future leaders.
