Wisconsin Ag Connection - 06/17/2020

The Collegiate Farm Bureau group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has elected its new officers for the next school year.

Taylor Gracyalny, an upcoming senior studying dairy science and life sciences communications, has been elected president of the group. The Pulaski native will be spending her summer working at Saputo Cheese in Milwaukee as an intern. In her new Farm Bureau position, she hopes to grow involvement in CFB and share the club's passion for agriculture with the UW-Madison campus.

Lindsey Sarbacker from Stoughton was elected vice president. She will be a senior double majoring in dairy science and life science communications with a certificate in agricultural business management and will be working for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture as a Food Export Intern.

Sabrina Servais, Stoddard, will be the new secretary. She will be a junior double majoring in dairy science and life sciences communication, along with a certificate in agricultural business management.

And the new treasurer will be Ashley Nelson of Forest Lake, Minnesota. She's a senior studying biochemistry and plant pathology and plans on attending graduate school after graduation to focus on crop disease research.

Meanwhile, Zachary Wiegel from Shullsburg will serve as the director of public relations as a sophomore this fall. He is majoring in agricultural business management.

The Collegiate Farm Bureau is affiliated with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.
