Farm Tech Days Seeking Next General Manager
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 01/20/2020

The governing board for Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. has begun the process of searching for its next general manager. Coordinators of the state's largest outdoor farm show say current manager Matt Glewen will be retiring in a couple of years and the board wants to hire someone to ease into the role.

The general manager is responsible for working with local county committees in organizing the event, which often takes up to three years to plan. They also handle bookkeeping and communication obligations for the organization, as well as planning board meetings.

The start date for the position is June 1, 2020, where the winning candidate will work with Glewen over an 18 month phase-in period.

This is a part time position and does not include health insurance or retirement benefits. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Applications will be accepted until February 15, with interviews slated for March.
