Wisconsin Ag Connection - 06/16/2014

The Wisconsin Pork Association has announced the hiring of a new Assistant Program Director. Mandy Masters will work full-time out of the organization's state office in Lancaster, where she will be responsible for coordinating consumer, producer, and fundraising programs, as well as managing the state office.

Masters is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business. She is originally from Mineral Point and has spent two years working for the Farm Credit Administration as an associate examiner in Bloomington, Minnesota.

"I am excited to be on board with WPA and eager to take on the responsibilities of my new role," said Masters. "I am also looking forward to the many opportunities to interact with both producers and consumers."

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys crafting, reading, bargain shopping, and helping out on the family farm.
