Badger Swine Symposium Slated for July

The University of Wisconsin-Extension Swine Team, Wisconsin Pork Association and the Pork Checkoff are inviting pork producers and industry professionals from across the state to the Badger Swine Symposium. The program takes place July 17 at the Agriculture Technology Center at the UW-Platteville
Organizers say the symposium is planned with a number of state and national speakers on important topics impacting the pork industry.
Among the items being presented include pit foaming, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome, PQA Plus and farm assessments, and research on Vitamin D deficiencies.
The program will be free to attend, and lunch will be included with support from the Pork Check-Off funds.
