Farm Tech Days Planning Field Demonstration Events
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 06/23/2010

Agricultural equipment manufacturers will once again be on hand at this year's Wisconsin Farm Technology Days to showcase their newest and best equipment. Show committee members say field demonstrations are a very popular feature of past FTDs, and this year will be no different.

A new feature during the 2010 show is called a "walk around," which will take place while the equipment is parked between the morning and afternoon demonstration times. This is an opportunity to actually walk around and see how the equipment operates and to ask questions about the operating features.

"We feel this opportunity will very beneficial to potential customers, as well as to the exhibitors that make such an effort to make our show a success," said Brad Peterson, son of the host family and field demonstrations committee co-chairman.

Some of the equipment included during this year's field demonstrations include sand separators, alfalfa harvesters, grain and straw harvesters, silage baggers, balers, bale wrappers, precision manure applicators, and tillage equipment.

Schedules will be posted in the official program available at the information booths and at gate entrances.

Farm Technology Days will be held July 20-22 on the Roger and Beverley Peterson farm just outside River Falls.
