FFA Proficiency Winners Honored During Virtual Convention

After many months of waiting, hundreds of FFA members were finally able to learn the results of their proficiency award applicants. On Tuesday, the winners of each of the award areas were posted on Facebook as part of the Wisconsin FFA Online Convention.

High school graduates and college students were also recognized for being recipients of the 2020 Wisconsin FFA Foundation Scholarship program.

The day wrapped up with a live workshop facilitated by National FFA President Kolesen McCoy.

Meanwhile, the state officers have another full day of activities planned for Wednesday. About 348 students will be recognized for earning their State FFA Degrees. The top five finalists will be announced for the Star Farmer, Star in Ag Placement, Star in Ag Business and Star in Ag Science.

And Jared Mack, Daniel Clark and Lydia Williams will each deliver their retiring addresses.
