More Jumps on NASS Cheese Survey on Friday

Prices were higher again on the National Ag Statistics Service Weekly Cheddar Cheese Survey. The price of 40 pound blocks for Minnesota-Wisconsin averaged $2.29, up nine cents from last week's price, while 500 pound barrels were eight cents higher at $2.33. The price of U.S. 40-pound blocks were up nine cents at $2.16 for the week ending June 7. The barrels were at $2.22, up eight cents.

Butter prices were steady as the price for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.47 per pound for the week.

Nonfat Dry Milk prices were two cents higher for the week at $1.36 per pound for USDA Extra Grade standards.

And for 'other states,' blocks were up nine cents at $2.15, and the barrels were at $2.31, which was eight higher compared to the previous week.
