Schultz Elected President of PDPW Board

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin has a new leader in charge of its board of directors. Katy Schultz of Fox Lake was chosen by her peers as the organization's president.

Schultz owns Tri-Fecta Farms Inc. with two of her siblings. The dairy operation has 500 cows and manages 2,000 acres of corn, alfalfa, wheat, soybeans and peas. Katy is the on-farm manager for daily operations, including livestock and employees.

She replaces Jeff Heeg of Colby as president, who remains on the board.

Other executive committee members include Janet Clark, Rosendale, vice president; John Haag, Dane, secretary and Heeg, who will now serve as treasurer.

The remainder of the board consists of Dan Scheider, Freeport, Ill.; Ken Feltz, Stevens Point; Corey Hodorff, Eden; Andy Buttles, Lancaster; and Steve Orth, Cleveland.
