Peninsula Pride Farms Holding Annual Meeting on Feb. 13
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 01/21/2020
Peninsula Pride Farms will host its conference and annual meeting next month at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg. More than a hundred farmers, agribusiness professionals and community members are expected to attend the February 13 forum,
which is being provided free of charge by the farmer-led conservation group.
The day beings at 9:30 a.m. with registration, followed by a presentation by NOAA Meteorologist Timm Uhlmann, who will give an overview of the state's precipitation history, outlook and tools.
Tim Kowols, a reporter with DoorCountyDailyNews.com, will also speak about how transparency and honesty can help forge strong relationships with the media and broader community.
And a discussion panel will highlight experiences from the four Door-Kewaunee Demonstration Farm Network participants.
Lunch will be served, followed by the group's annual meeting.
