UW-Madison Ag Research Station to Hold Field Days

The University of Wisconsin-Madison's Agricultural Research Stations is once again hosting a series of public field days throughout the growing season. The purpose of the events are to share research updates and educational information with agricultural professionals, home gardeners and other interested citizens.

Below is a list of this season's field days:

** June 15: Potato Research Field Day, Hancock - 12:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

** July 28: Wisconsin Turfgrass Association Summer Field Day, Verona - 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

** August 3: Cow/Calf Field Day, Lancaster - 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

** August 7: Wisconsin's Bats, Woodruff - 7:00 p.m.

** August 8: Bat House Workshop, Woodruff - 10:00 a.m.

** August 15: Urban Horticulture Day, Verona - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

** August 18: Twilight Garden Tour, Spooner - 4:00 p.m. to dusk

** August 19: UW Agronomy and Soils Field Day, Arlington - 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

** August 22: Sheep Day, Spooner - 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

** August 29: Grape Field Day, Verona - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

** September 2: UW Organic Field Day, Arlington - 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

** September 8: UW Organic Vegetable Field Day, Verona - 4:00 pm - 7:00 p.m.

** September 12: The Taste of The Garden Door, Sturgeon Bay - 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
