UW-Extension Holding 'So You Want to Raise Beef?' Meeting

The University of Wisconsin-Extension offices in Clark and Taylor Counties are hosting a series of on-farm meetings for anyone interested in adding beef to their dairy operation or switching to beef from dairy.
It kicks off on July 18 at the Richard Halopka Farm in Stetsonville at 7:30 a.m. with a workshop on Pasture Management and BCS Scoring. On August 15, attendees will learn about Beef Marketing Options at the Abbyland Truck Stop in Curtiss.
Other sessions will be held August 29 and September 30 at locations yet to be determined.
The workshop series aims to provide useful information for those new to, or contemplating, raising beef.
