Pagel Re-Elected President of DBMMC Co-op

John Pagel was re-elected president of the Dairy Business Milk Marketing Cooperative during the group's annual meeting this week, held in conjunction with the Dairy Strong conference in Madison. Pagel owns and operates Pagel's Ponderosa Dairy LLC in Kewaunee, which is the largest single family-owned dairy in the state with nearly 4,500 milking cows.

He was a founding member of DBMMC and has served on the board of directors since its inception. John also serves on the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Kewaunee school board, Kewaunee County Board as chairman of the Soil and Water Committee, and the Wisconsin Deer Management Control Council.

Todd Doornink, co-owner of Jon-De Farms, Inc. in Baldwin, was reelected as vice president. He is the fourth generation in his family to farm. He has been active in local and state 4-H dairy programs, the Holstein Association, Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin and currently serves on the Friends of the St. Croix County Fairgrounds.

Jim Winn will remain secretary of the board and Mitch Davis will again serve as treasurer.

Meanwhile, DBMMC member-owners also re-elected Jerry Meissner of Chili to the board, and chose Randy Hallet from Casco to serve in his first term on the panel.
