Wright-Racette Hired as WFU's Policy Organizer

Wisconsin Farmers Union has announced the hiring of a new policy organizer. David Wright-Racette will be responsible for coordinating and developing WFU outreach efforts while working closely with members and county chapters to support engagement at the local level.
Wright-Racette is from Prairie Farm and grew up on his parents' Spring Hill Community Farm, a CSA that markets mainly to the Twin Cities area. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received his bachelor's degree in political science. While there, he also interned for State Senator Bob Jauch.
"We are very excited to welcome David to the WFU staff," said WFU President Darin Von Ruden. "His energy and his experience in rural Wisconsin will be a great asset to Farmers Union. David is deeply committed to ensuring that rural residents have a voice in the issues and policies that affect their
communities and livelihoods."
The job of policy organizer is a newly created position within the organization.
