Accelerated Genetics Hires Local Students as Summer Interns

The Baraboo-based Accelerated Genetics has hired nine summer interns, including several from Wisconsin.

Brittany Sorg, Spring Green; Colton Carpenter, Darlington; and Grant Gausman, Baldwin will work as sales and service interns, where they will develop skills in artificial insemination, learn about reproductive services, as well as receive a broad-range of experience in all sales division positions.

Sorg and Carpenter are both majoring in Animal Science with Dairy Science emphasis at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Gausman is majoring in Dairy Science at the UW-River Falls.

Kirsten Langrehr, West Salem, is majoring in Dairy Science-Management at the UW-RF. She is working as a marketing communications interns, where she will be assisting with a variety of projects in the areas of public relations, communications, photography, videography and graphic design.
