Sorenson Re-Elected President of American Jersey Association

A Wisconsin dairy producer has been re-elected as the leader of the American Jersey Cattle Association. Chris Sorenson from Pine River will serve his third one-year term as president of the group. He was first tapped for the top spot in 2012.
Sorenson is a partner in Hillview Jersey Farm, a family corporation formed in 1982. The 850-acre farm milks 100 registered cows, which are enrolled on Association's REAP program. He is a seven-year director of the AJCA
Meanwhile, David Endres, Lodi, was elected to the group's board from the fourth district. He operates Endres Jazzy Jerseys, a 700-cow Registered Jersey operation. He has held leadership positions with Wisconsin Farm Bureau, and the former Alto Dairy Cooperative and been a media contact on dairy and
agriculture issues for the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin.
