Speakers for Week 19 of PDPW Dairy Signal Announced

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is welcoming several new speakers to its Dairy Signal programs this week.

On Tuesday, State Farm Service Agency Director Sandy Chalmers will provide an update on the CARES Act, specifically on what has been paid out to state and national dairy farmers.

Dr. John Goeser of Rock River Lab, Inc., and assistant professor in the dairy science department at University of Wisconsin-Madison is on tap for Wednesday talking about proactive management practices for producing quality feed, and consider alternative feeding strategies to utilize this year's and the remaining of last year's feed.

And on Thursday, business consultant Gary Sipiorski and Dr. Kevin Bernhardt, professor of agribusiness at UW-Platteville, will discuss important items to discuss with your lender, such as balance sheets, income statements and other parts of your business plan.
