Sponsors Sought for 2017 State FFA Alumni Convention
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 07/27/2016
Organizers of the 2017 Wisconsin FFA Alumni's state convention have announced the dates for next year's conference. The forum will take place February 3-4 at the Heidel House Resort in Green Lake.
While there, attendees will have a chance to participate in educational workshops and get updated on how FFA students are developing their local communities. The conference is also a way to acknowledge the accomplishments of alumni affiliates, alumni
members and ag instructors.
Convention Chair BJ Chrisler says planners are also in the process of looking for sponsors for the event. Companies and individuals can choose from six tiers of sponsorship ranging from Friend of the Alumni to Star Level.
"Sponsors and stakeholders are an essential component to the success of the 2017 Wisconsin FFA Alumni Convention," Chrisler noted. "Every year we welcome over 300 members to our annual convention to celebrate their accomplishments, prepare for the
upcoming year, and network with our sponsors and stakeholders to better understand how we can positively impact the agriculture industry. With a full agenda planned including entertainment, auctions, and workshops, we plan to make this one of the most
interactive conventions yet."
With Renew Your Purpose as the theme for this year's conference, the Wisconsin FFA Alumni is focusing on providing nostalgic activities and entertainment to help remind members how far agriculture has developed over the decades. The classic Wisconsin
Heidel House Resort provides the perfect location to reflect on the achievements of the organization in agricultural education over the past year, while preparing and learning new skills to assist in the future.
