UW-Madison Prof to Lead National Dairy Science Group

A professor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison has been chosen to lead the American Dairy Science Association.

Scott Rankin was named president of the group after serving as vice president last year.

Rankin is chair of the Food Science Department at UW-Madison.

He also serves as an extension specialist and dairy foods researcher at the school; and chairs or co-chairs over a dozen extension programs.

The ADSA is an international organization of educators, scientists and industry representatives who are committed to advancing the dairy industry through scientific leadership and technical support.
