Farm Fresh Atlas Offers New Opportunity for Direct Market Promotion

Farmers who want to sell their vegetables, fruits, meat or other agriculture products directly to consumers have the opportunity to promote their farm location and products on the Western Wisconsin Farm Fresh Atlas Website. The goal of the site is to help connect producers of local food products with local residents and tourists who want to buy farm fresh products and experience rural Wisconsin. Business or restaurants that sell or feature local agriculture products are also featured on the Farm Fresh Atlas Website.

If you are in the business of direct marketing locally grown products, or directly support those that do, you may want to consider submitting an application as a farmer, retailer/restaurant, or sponsor of local foods, and they will add you to the Website for free. The Atlas is a collaborative effort lead by UW-Extension educators in Northwestern/Western Wisconsin with the support of several non-profit organizations.
