Man Injured in Wood County Tractor vs. Truck Accident

Authorities are investigating an accident in central Wisconsin on Tuesday afternoon where a pickup truck struck a farm tractor on a county highway.
According to the Wood County Sheriff's Department, the vehicle struck the tractor from behind just after noon on County Highway K near Arpin, causing the driver of the tractor to be ejected and then pinned under the pickup.
The victim was airlifted to a Marshfield hospital, where he was treated with significant injuries. The driver of the truck was also treated for minor injuries and released.
Portions of the highway where closed for several hours following the accident.
